County Rugby 10th Annual Golf Classic:
The date is Saturday August 9th, at Oak Country Golf Course in De Soto. We will be having a shotgun start beginning at 7:30 am, so bring your Bloody Mary’s and Irish Whiskey! The cost is $75.00 per person, or $300.00 per 4 man team. The format is best-ball scramble, with the lowest score turned in at the end of the day declared the best golfers. The price includes 18 holes of golf & cart, unlimited drinks on the course, and lunch at JT’s Bar & Grill afterwards. This year, we are partnering with TLC of Olathe, a non-profit organization that helps troubled youth, and families.

Tournament Schedule:
Registration begins at 7:00 am at the course, but pre-registering is STRONGLY encouraged. You can pre-register by emailing your team name and members to Tony Becker at abecker1@kc.rr.com. A shotgun start will commence promptly at 7:30 am, with 6 specialty holes scattered throughout the course. There will be 2 beer carts available to keep everyone refreshed, and once all 18 holes are destroyed, we will adjourn to JT's Bar & Grill for lunch, a jersey auction, raffle, and the awards for the day. Directions to Oak Country:
- Take 435 west to K-10 Highway. Go 9 miles west on K-10 Highway to Kill Creek Road.
- Exit right on Kill Creek Road and go north 3/4 mile to 88th Street.
- Turn
left on 88th Street and you are at Oak Country Golf Course.

Lunch:
- Lunch tickets will be available at registration, and the food will be ready for us when we arrive at JT’s.
After lunch, there will be a Jersey Auction of jersey’s that have been donated by County Rugby members.
A raffle will be held for a laptop generously donated by one of our members.
We will present the prizes for the winning team, the longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt, as well as door prizes.
Specialty Holes on the course:
Longest Drive– Prize for the longest drive on a designated hole.
Closest to the Pin– Prize for the shot closest to the pin on a designated hole.
Longest Putt– Prize for the longest putt on a designated hole.
Gambling Golfer Hole– Take your chances on hitting a ball to a 10 foot circle around the pin. Double your money if you make it inside the circle. Lose your money of you don’t.
Tee-Off with a Rugby Ball– Your foursome can pay $20.00 to toss a Rugby Ball from the tee-box, and then Tee-Off from where it lands.
Hole-in-One on the Moon- Try at a hole in one on a Par 3: Anyone can pay $10.00 to try a shot at a 10 foot circle around the pin. Land your ball inside, and you have a hole in one! There is no limit as to HOW MANY TIMES you can try it, it just costs $10.00 per shot!
County Rugby is a Non-For-Profit 501c3 organization and has approved receipts and certificates for all sponsors of the event.
